Going Down Under? Go Big

Posted On: 10/01/2014

We know our Dallas/Ft. Worth operator, GO Yellow Checker was happy to learn that Qantas chose DFW International to launch the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the A380, for service Sidney, Australia.

The airlines hopes that direct service with the new, roomier aircraft will make it easier and more attractive for Americans to visit Australia, which welcomed 317,000 U.S. visitors last year.

The new A380 service will operate every day, except Tuesdays. Sidney-bound passengers can expect to lose two days going out (due to a night departure and crossing the international dateline). Hopefully those days will be returned on the way back.
