Bank of America Stadium

This football stadium in Uptown Charlotte holds more than 75,000 people and is the home of the NFL football team, the Carolina Panthers. This state-of-the-art stadium is equipped with everything you could need – convenient ATMs, food and beverage stands and souvenir stalls. If you’re lucky enough to be in town during the season, you should make this a priority!

Charlotte Race Track

Charlotte is a beautiful city to walk around – one of Vinne Van GO’s all-time favorites. There are also a number of city landmarks that you should not miss while you’re in town, all just a short shuttle ride away!


Carowinds

This massive amusement park a short shuttle ride away from Charlotte city center. Besides for roller coasters, arcade games and other rides, there is also a water park. This park has fun activities for all ages, so no matter why you’re in town, this is a great way to spend the day.

For NASCAR fans from all over the world, this is the ultimate shrine. The Hall of Fame honors drivers, crew chiefs, owners and NASCAR history. If you’re interested in car racing heritage and history at all, you’re sure to enjoy this Charlotte institution.

This family museum provides is a science and technology museum for all ages. With annual events, permanent exhibits and hands-on interactive experiences, Discovery Place is a must-visit. Don’t forget about the state-of-the-art IMAX Dome Theatre!

Charlotte Neighborhoods

Just walking around Charlotte is like going back in time. The city is known for its quaint but stately architecture and friendly neighborhoods. In case you want more guidance and historical information, these three tours are worth every penny.


Charlotte Segway Tour

This fun tour takes you through Uptown Charlotte. You can check out the Mint Museum, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and the Fourth Ward. The rides can last either 1.5 or 2 hours long. The longer ride also takes you through historic cemeteries and the Panthers football stadium.


Charlotte Comedy City Tour

This hour and a half bus tour takes you through the city, with commentary both hilarious and informational. This tour is BYO, and the jokes get pretty raunchy, so this is not the tour for the family. But if you’re in town with friends, there’s no better way to see the city.


Beyond the Grave Haunted History Tour

This affordable tour is a historical walking tour in uptown Charlotte. Guided by lantern light, you’ll learn the local history with a spooky spin. This tour lasts an hour and a half, and while scary for young kids, is the right amount of fun while you’re in town.

Charlotte NC Restaurants

Charlotte is home to a burgeoning food scene. With cuisine that has influences from southern style food and international residents, you won’t leave with an empty stomach. The Market is a cool open air marketplace with food from all over the world. The stands host a huge variety of local vendors, bars, bakeries and more! Even if you’re not hungry, this is the perfect place to walk around.
