Welcome to Nebraska’s largest city! Omaha is one of Vinnie Van GO’s favorite cities, and for good reason. The city has some of the best food, cultural institutions, and fun events around.

Here are some of Vinnie’s favorite spots to visit when he’s in town.

Omaha Annual Events

NCAA Men’s College World Series

This massive sports event, one of the longest running athletic traditions in America, has been taking place every June in Omaha since 1950. The 10-day event sees street vendors, festivals, live music events, and some of the best basketball in the country.

The Summer Arts Festival

For one of Omaha’s biggest music and arts celebrations, The Summer Arts Festival is the area’s best. With hundreds of the country’s best artists, and an interactive children's fair, this June event is perfect for families.

Omaha Fashion Week

For one of the Midwest’s biggest fashion events of the year is Omaha’s Fashion Week. With more than 40 designers showcasing over 400 creations all set against dramatic environments, such as the warehouse space Kaneko, this August event is great for any fashionista or industry professional.

Baxter Arena

For all local sporting and entertainment events, Baxter Arena is the place to go. Home to the Omaha Mavericks, this state of the art venue is a great place to catch a game when you’re in town.
