Vail Opening Day

Each March brings around another major local ski celebration. Pink Vail is the biggest sky day dedicated to conquering cancer in the world. This uplifting event sees a day of live music, costume contests, parties, and more.

John A. Dobson Ice Arena

This indoor ski arena is a favorite place amongst locals to spend the day. Get your family and friends together for indoor ice skating and amateur hockey games!

Vail Valley

This is the heart of Vail, and holds most of the area’s best restaurants, shops, and other attractions. This charming city center may be where all the tourists go, but you’d be remiss to not spend some time walking around.

Piney River Ranch

Just because Vail is famous for its skiing, doesn’t mean it’s dead in summertime. If you happen to be around in the summer months, this mountain ranch offers activities from hiking and canoeing to horseback riding and lodging.

Camp Hale

Built in 1942 as a WWII army force training camp, this site is now a gorgeous monument, and one of the most-visited historic sites in Eagle County.
